Several people blog about mapping in general:

  • The Map Room - a weblog about maps from Jonathan Crowe
  • Maps Matter from sk53-osm has many articles on using OpenStreetMap (OSM) in different ways, as well as links into the OSM community
  • Open Maps from Chris Hill also has many interesting articles, including fascinating posts (September 2015) on using LIDAR data from the UK Environment Agency
  • Tlatet is another mapping blog, including posts on using the LIDAR data
  • Imagico.de blogs about the available satellite images and underlying data
  • mapgubbins is a blog by Owen Boswarva, about UK open data, among other mapping things
