  • OneGeology is an international initiative aiming to create a dynamic geological map of the world, available to everyone via the web. You can view the maps in the OneGeology Portal
  • Keith Briggs has some maps of Roman Roads as an old experiment in map presentation
  • For anyone whose one place is in the sea (!) the OpenSeaMap may be of interest (Wikipedia article)
