Timelines

Some mapping systems are history-oriented and they usually have a timeline feature which enables you to see how things change over time.

In addition, some one-place studies display timelines unrelated to maps. Examples include:

• Glenaray/Auchindrain - using TimeGlider
• Holywell-cum-Needingworth - using TNG/Simile (tailored so you can also see National, County, or Local events as well as genealogical events)
  • also a special one on WW1
