Carto (was CartDB) is a Software as a Service (SaaS) cloud computing platform that provides GIS and web mapping tools for display in a web browser, built on open source software.
The free option allows unlimited datasets and mapviews, 250MB of vector data, but only 4 layers. The next level is the Basic one ($149 / month), which allows 500MB of vector data, 5 layers, and the brand is removable.
