Offline sources of maps
« on: 13 February 2016, 12:38:00 »
There are many sources of maps that are not online, and this is just a fairly random list of a few. More sources can be found among the links on Some free online sources of maps, eg The National Archives and The British Library.

If you have access to a university library then they can have many maps, eg Cambridge University Library, or the Bodleian Library at Oxford. is a Society for One-Place Studies project supported by Grassroots Giving from Skipton Building Society
